Nestled in 15 hectares of native landscaped gardens, Alba offers contemporary geothermal bathing in over 20 pools, including the Forest pools, the Seasons pool and Eve – the sunset pool. Find tranquility in the Hide pool and reinvigorate the senses with the sauna, steam room and plunge pools. Time
  • We recommend you allow at least 2 hours for bathing, however there are no time restrictions on entry.
Location
  • This experience is located at Alba Thermal Springs and Spa on 282 Browns Road Fingal, a 90 minute drive by car from Melbourne.
  • Car parking is available free of charge with ample accessible parking spaces, plus charging ports for electric cars.
  • Options for public transport on the Mornington Peninsula are limited. You can travel by train to Frankston station, then bus to the Rye Hotel. From there you can complete your journey by taxi or Uber.
What To Bring
  • Appropriate swimwear must be worn in the springs. - We recommend the use of hats, rash vests, sunglasses and sunscreen while bathing. - Please note, clothing such as t-shirts are not permitted in the springs, as the high mineral content of the water may cause discolouration.
  • Waterproof footwear, such as thongs or sandals, is highly recommended throughout the springs and wet areas. Please note, footwear is required to enter the restaurant.
  • We suggest you don’t wear jewellery in the springs as the minerals may cause tarnishing.
Additional Information
  • The springs are great in all seasons. We have warm geo-thermal pools for cooler days, but we also have cold plunge pools for warmer days. - The Seasons is our largest pool, and its temperature changes depending on the season.
  • In the event of thunderstorms, we will ask guests to leave the pools until the storm passes.
  • Alba has been designed with everyone in mind. - All our buildings and pathways are wheelchair accessible as are many of our pools. One of our pools, The Dunes, has a hoist and sling and many other pools have the provision for one. - We have accessible parking, changerooms and toilets and can provide buggy transport for guests with limited mobility.
Terms And Conditions
  • Dietary requirements can be accommodated. Please notify staff on arrival.
  • We do not recommend bathing in the geo-thermal springs during pregnancy. You may enjoy dipping your feet in the springs, but fully immersing your body may raise your body temperature, which can be dangerous during pregnancy.
  • We recommend that people with certain medical conditions do not enter the springs before first obtaining medical advice
  • Bookings are essential and need to be made at least 48 hours in advance. - Blackout periods apply: 25 Dec - 26 Jan inclusive, and
  • Victorian Public Holidays. - Guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. - Alba is a smoke free venue and premise - Alba is a place of tranquillity, therefore phones, laptops or smartwatches are not permitted in our springs, spa or restaurant.
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
  • Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
